Age 21, Williamsport, Pennsylvania LCpl. Howard died due to wounds sustained while supporting combat operations in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to Headquarters and Service Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, based out of North Versailles, Pa. while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, his unit was attached to I Marine Expeditionary Force (FWD). He died on July 27, 2010.
