Lieutenant Colonel Joshua F. Bradstreet

Lieutenant Colonel Joshua F. Bradstreet is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and entered active service with the Marines in May of 1999. Upon completion of The Basic School, Lieutenant Colonel Bradstreet reported for flight training in Pensacola, FL in Dec of 1999.  He received his wings as a Naval Aviator Sept 14, 2001 and was assigned to Camp Pendleton to fly the AH-1W Cobra attack helicopter with HMT-303.

From April of 2002 to September of 2007 he was assigned to HMLA-267, “The Stingers”.  He participated in three deployments with the Stingers; one to Iraq and two in support of expeditionary operations in the Western Pacific.  From September 2007 to October 2010 he was assigned to the Office of Naval Intelligence, Washington, DC, providing aviation related intelligence to deploying squadrons and Pentagon planners. From Oct 2010 to July 2012 Lieutenant Colonel Bradstreet was assigned to the Marine Corps’ Training and Education Command in Quantico VA, working in the Aviation Training Division. His responsibilities included the refinement of the aviation flight hour program via the various type/model/series training and readiness manuals that define the tactical aviation training curriculum.

In August of 2012 Lieutenant Colonel Bradstreet left active duty and transitioned to the Marine Corps Reserves. His first assignment was with the Joint Staff in Suffolk, VA working in the J7 exercise modeling and simulation cell until November of 2015. His next assignment was with Readiness Support Program 3, beginning as the Fort Devens, MA Assistant Site OIC and concluding his time there as the Deputy Regional Coordinator. 

Lieutenant Colonel Bradstreet is slated to take command of VMU-4 in May of 2021. 

In his civilian capacity Lieutenant Colonel Bradstreet is a Corporate Finance Director with EG America, a fuel and convenience store group of companies. 

Lieutenant Colonel Bradstreet holds a BA from the University of Virginia, an MAPP from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business Administration
