Biography

 

Captain Joshua A. Carmack
Inspector-Instructor
Military Police Company C

Joshua A. Carmack is a native of Huntingdon, England.  Joshua Carmack reported to Officer Candidate School on 10 January 2018. Following graduation and commissioning on 17 March 2018, Second Lieutenant Carmack reported to The Basic School (TBS) and graduated on 26 September 2018.  

In February 2019, Second Lieutenant Carmack received orders to 3D Law Enforcement Battalion. Second Lieutenant Carmack reported to Military Police Officer Basic Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri in April 2019. 
 
In August 2019, Captain Carmack received modified orders to Marine Corps Air Station, Iwakuni, to serve as the Watch Commander for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd platoon. During this time, Second Lieutenant Carmack was promoted to First Lieutenant. 

In June of 2020, First Lieutenant Carmack was positioned as the Operations Officer for the Provost Marshals Office In January of 2022, First Lieutenant Carmack was selected to execute a staff assist visit in support of the security forces at Camp Mujuk, Republic of Korea to prepare for an upcoming Commanding General Readiness Inspection. Upon the return from the site support visit, First Lieutenant Carmack was promoted to Captain.

In August 2023, Captain Carmack was selected for residency professional military education at Expeditionary Warfare School in Quantico Virginia. In April 2024, and upon completion of PME, Captain Carmack received orders to Military Police Company C, 4th Law Enforcement Battalion, to serve as the Inspector-Instructor.

Captain Carmack’s personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
