Sergeant Major Rodjard R. Daguman
Command Senior Enlisted Leader
Combat Logistics Battalion 23

Sergeant Major Rodjard Daguman enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve on October 29, 2001.  He attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California and graduated as the Platoon and Series Honorman.  Upon completion, Lance Corporal Daguman attended Marine Combat Training (MCT), School of Infantry at Camp Pendleton, California.   Upon completion he reported to Camp Johnson, North Carolina where obtained the military occupation specialty of Basic Landing Support Specialist.  Lance Corporal Daguman then reported to Bravo Company, 4th Landing Support Battalion in Lathrop, California.  
 
In March 2003, 4th Landing Support Company was activated in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where the company reported to FSSG 147 at Camp Pendleton, California.  Lance Corporal Daguman participated in Port Operations, Arrival/Aerial Control Group, and Helicopter Support missions within the Camp Pendleton area.  At the end of the activation, Lance Corporal Daguman returned to Bravo Company Lathrop, California and continued his duties as a Landing Support Specialist.  He was later promoted to the rank of Corporal in April 2005.  
 
From 2005-2007, Corporal Daguman continued his duties as a Landing Support Specialist and participated in various training operations such as Cobra Gold (Thailand), Freedom Banner (South Korea), Texas Phoenix (Texas), Pacific Horizon (California), and Africa Lion (Africa). During that time, Corporal Daguman was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in October 2006 and served as the Landing Support Platoon Sergeant.    
 
In January 2008, Sergeant Daguman was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served with Landing Support Platoon, Transportation Services Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 15.  He served as a Platoon Sergeant during the deployment in charge of the Arrival/Departure Aerial Control Group.  
 
In January 2010, Sergeant Daguman was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant and served as Platoon Sergeant, Platoon Commander, and Company Gunnery Sergeant.   
 
In November 2010, Staff Sergeant Daguman attended and completed the San Joaquin Delta College Police Academy and was subsequently hired as a Police Officer for the City of Elk Grove Police Department, California.
 
In June 2013, Staff Sergeant Daguman received orders to 4th Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division,  Alameda, California where he served as the Logistics Chief, Martial Arts Instructor, Combat Marksmanship Trainer, and Company Gunnery Sergeant. He was later promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in December 2013.  
 
In January 2019, Gunnery Sergeant Daguman was deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Freedom Sentinel - Resolute Support Mission with the Georgian Deployment Program - Georgia Liaison Team 9 as the Logistics Chief, Martial Arts Instructor, and Foreign Security Forces Advisor. 
 
In September 2019, Gunnery Sergeant Daguman was promoted to his current rank of First Sergeant and received orders to Maintenance Service Company, Combat Logistics Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 4 Sacramento, California where served as the Company First Sergeant.
 
In May 2023, First Sergeant Daguman was promoted to the rank of Sergeant Major and received orders to Combat Logistics Battalion 23, Combat Logistics Regiment 4, Fort Lewis, Washington where serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader.
 
His personal awards include the Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal and Naval Achievement Medal.
