First Sergeant Anthony E. Garcia
Unit Senior Enlisted Leader
Weapons Company, 2d Battalion, 23d Marine Regiment

Anthony Edward Garcia is a native of Riverside, California. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in February 15, 2004 and attended recruit training at MCRD San Diego CA. At this time of recruit training, he received a meritorious promotion to Privet First Class for being a squad leader, immediately after attending marine combat training he left to his military occupational specialty school in fort Knox Kentucky and graduated 2nd in his class at tank crewman course.

PFC Garcia reported to his first duty station in 2004 to A CO 4th TK BN Oceanside, CA and then served with H&S CO in 2019 then shortly after 4th tanks was deactivated, he served with Marines for life for approximately one-year.  In 2022 served with Weapons Company 2/23 to present day. During this time period, he also started his career on the civilian side, working at Home Depot then McLane Co leading to full time employment as a driver for McLane Co.

Working at McLane Co he started as a full case picker pulling large boxes of sports drinks and water. Then was given the opportunity to be the face of the company and deliver the product that was ordered to the store. This is currently where he works now and has been now for the last 17 years.
