Captain Spiridon is a native of Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. He enrolled in Rhode Island College in September 2010 and completed his undergraduate education in Criminal Justice and Sociology in May 2014. He arrived at Officer Candidate School in January of 2018 and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Marine Corps in March 2018.
March 2018, Second Lieutenant Spiridon reported to Company C, The Basic School Quantico, Virginia. September 2018, upon the completion of The Basic School, he received orders to the Marine Corps Logistics Officer Course Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Upon graduating, Second Lieutenant Spiridon received the military occupation specialty of 0402, Logistics Officer. March 2019, Second Lieutenant Spiridon reported for duty to Combat Logistics Battalion 13, 1st Marine Logistics Group, Camp Pendleton, California.
Upon arrival, Second Lieutenant Spiridon was assigned to Landing Support Platoon and served as Landing Support Platoon Commander. February 2020, his Landing Support platoon deployed in support of Exercise Native Fury, a multi-lateral exercise in U.A.E. He was promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant during the exercise. Upon his return, he was transferred to serve as the Maintenance Management Officer (MMO), where he led the Battalion to a successful FSMAO inspection.
Upon completion of his role as the MMO, he assumed the duties and responsibilities as the Logistics Officer. March 2021, First Lieutenant Spiridon was selected to serve as Camp Commandant for Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course 2-21, providing life support services for 627 Marines and Sailors.
October 2021, First Lieutenant Spiridon completed his tour with Combat Logistics Battalion 13 and executed orders to Weapons and Field Training Battalion. July 2022, First Lieutenant Spiridon was promoted to the rank of Captain and served as the Logistics Officer for Weapons and Field Training Battalion.
August 2023, Capt Spiridon executed his permanent change of station to Folsom, Pennsylvania where he is currently serving as the Inspector-Instructor, Truck Detachment, 25th Marine Regiment.
His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal w/ gold star in lieu of second award.
