Lt. j.g. Ashley M. Zerick
Inspector - Instructor
Surgical Company B, 4th Medical Battalion

LTJG Zerick is a native of Romulus, NY. She graduated from Romulus Central School in 2009 and joined the United States Navy in July 2009.  She reported to Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL for Basic Training.  Following Boot Camp, she reported to Naval Aircrew Candidate School and then AWO “A” school in Pensacola, FL. Upon graduation she attended FRS at VP-30 in Jacksonville, FL.

Her first duty assignment was Patrol Squadron FOUR FIVE in Jacksonville, FL in November 2010. There, she deployed twice with P-3C’s in support of Operations: Operation Unified Protector, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Active Endeavor.  In 2014, she transitioned aircraft to the P-8A and conducted VP-45’s first P-8A deployment in support of CTF-72 Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Force. During this tour she earned her Naval Aircrew Warfare Specialist pin and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist pin.

October 2015, she reported to Naval Aviation Schools Command Pensacola, FL, where she served as a Naval Aircrew Candidate School High Risk Instructor and Naval Military Training Instructor. While onboard, she qualified as a Master Training Specialist and advanced to Petty Officer First Class.

April 2019, she reported to Patrol Squadron ONE in Oak Harbor, WA. She deployed with the Screaming Eagles on their inaugural P-8A deployment in support of CTF-72 Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Force in Japan and a second deployment to CTF-67 in Sicily.  She served as the AWO Shop LPO, Primary NATOPS Instructor and LPO, and Operations LPO.

July 2022, she reported to VP-30’s Pro’s Nest in Jacksonville, FL where she served as a Fleet Replacement Squadron Acoustic Instructor. In October 2022, she was promoted to Chief Petty Officer. While onboard she also served as the Command Security Manager, Drug and Alcohol Program Advisor, Casualty Assistance Calls Officer, Fleet NATOPS Evaluator, and Instructional Systems Design Department LCPO. 

June 2024, she commissioned as a Medical Service Corps Officer as a Healthcare Administrator. LTJG is currently serving as the Inspector-Instructor for 4th Medical Battalion, Surgical Company Bravo in Washington, DC.
