Staff Sergeant Junior A. Hancelopez
Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge
Reserve Support Activity - Twentynine Palms

Native of San Juan, P.R., Staff Sergeant Hancelopez enlisted in October 2010 and attended Marine Recruit Training at MCRD Parris Island, SC. Upon graduation, Staff Sergeant Hancelopez attended Basic Administration school located in Camp Johnson, NC. Upon graduation,  Staff Sergeant Hancelopez was assigned to IPAC, Inbounds section in Camp Lejeune, NC (2011-2015) serving as Administration clerk. 
 
In May 2014, Staff Sergeant Hancelopez deployed with the 22nd MEU serving as the NCOIC for the Command Element S-1 shop in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. 
 
In 2015, Staff Sergeant Hancelopez reported to HQ, 12th Marine Corps District at MCRD San Diego, where he served as the Legal Chief and Adjutant Chief providing support to over 200 recruiters in the western recruiting region.
 
In 2018, Staff Sergeant Hancelopez executed orders to 5th MEB in Bahrain to act as Admin chief for the Combined Task Force 51/5 for a period of a year supporting operations in the 5th Fleet Area of Operation. 
 
In 2019, Staff Sergeant Hancelopez completed Basic Recruiter School, and was assigned Recruiting Station San Francisco, recruiting sub-station Salinas, where he served as canvassing recruiter from 2019-2022. 
 
In August 2022, he transferred to IPAC, HQSPTBN, Camp Pendleton, CA to serve as Admin Chief for one of the Costumer service offices aboard Camp Pendleton.
 
On December 2024, Staff Sergeant Hancelopez was assigned to Deployment Processing Command, Reserve Support Unit West in order to help establish the Reserve Support Activity Twentynine Palms acting as admin and operation representative for the command.
 
Staff Sergeant  Hancelopez' personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with one gold star and the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
