Major William T. Condon is a native of Los Altos, CA and a graduate of Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He was commissioned in January 2013 via the Platoon Leaders Class Combined. Upon completion of The Basic School and Ground Supply Officer’s Course, he was designated a Ground Supply Officer.
Major Condon’s first command assignment was the Supply Officer for 3d Battalion 2d Marines in Camp Lejeune, NC where he deployed twice to Okinawa, Japan as part of Forward Deployed Battalion East. During his time at 3d Battalion 2d Marines he passed three Command General’s Readiness Inspections and two Field Supply and Maintenance Analysis Office Inspections.
Major Condon transitioned to the Selected Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR) in 2017 and joined Marine Air Group 49 at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ as the Ground Supply Officer. In 2018 he transferred to 2d Civil Affairs Group at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, in Washington, D.C. The unit then changed to Marine Corps Advisor Company Alpha (MCAC-A) in 2019, and he was assigned to Team 3 focusing on advising operations in Southern Command. In the spring of 2020, he graduated from Georgetown University with a Master of Arts in Democracy and Governance with a focus in Latin America and then completed Expeditionary Warfare School Blended Seminar Program later that year. He began a fellowship with the Department of State Office of Mexican Affairs in 2021 and as a SMCR member of MCAC-A, he participated in UNITAS 2021 in Peru.
In 2022 Major Condon was hired as a Civil Service Policy Advisor at the Department of State Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor for the Western Hemisphere. He transferred to the Executive Officer position for Supply Company, CLB-451 in 2022 and served in this billet until October of 2023 when he accepted orders as an Exercise Planner to Marine Corps Forces South (MFS). At MFS he served as the Exercise Planner for PANAMAX 2024, CENTAM GUARDIAN PH II 2024 in Costa Rica, and RESOLUTE SENTINEL 2024 in Peru.
Major Condon became the Commanding Officer for Supply Company, CLB-451, in October 2024 and assumed Command of Supply Company 4th Combat Readiness Regiment in February 2026.
