Captain Eberle is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. He holds a undergraduate degree in criminal justice from The Citadel. He was commissioned on the 4th of May 2018.
Second Lieutenant Eberle attended The Basic School in Quantico, VA during September 2018. Once completed he departed to Fort Sill, OK where he attended Marine Artillery Officer Basic Course. Upon Graduating from Fort Sill, Second Lieutenant Eberle reported to Bravo Battery, 1st Battalion, 11th Marines in December 2019.
From January 2020 to November 2020, 1st Lieutenant Eberle served as Guns Platoon Commander, Battery B. During November 2020 Battery B chopped to Battalion Landing Team (BLT) 1/1, in support of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). From August 2021 to March 2022, Bravo Battery deployed attached to BLT 1/1 in support of the 11th MEU. During this time 1st Lieutenant Eberle served as Fire Direction Officer, Headquarters Platoon Commander/AXO and Executive Officer.
In May of 2022 Captain Eberle received orders to serve as a Battery Inspector-Instructor and the Battalion Maintenance Management Officer, 5th Battalion, 14th Marines. From May 2022 to July 2023 he served as the Battery N Inspector-Instructor during the Battery mobilization in support of the 31st MEU rotation 23.2. In the Fall of 2023 he began serving as Battery O Inspector-Instructor.
