Captain Kenneth E. Hodges
Inspector-Instructor
November Battery, 5th Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment

Kenneth Hodges is a native of Charleston, South Carolina. He attended college at The University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Mathematics. He attended Officer Candidate School in July 2017 and was commissioned in February of 2019.  
 
Second Lieutenant Hodges attended The Basic School in Quantico, VA in May 2019. Upon completing TBS he departed to Fort Sill, OK where he attended Marine Artillery Officer Basic Course. Upon Graduating from Fort Sill, Second Lieutenant Hodges reported to Golf Battery, 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines in May 2020. Second Lieutenant Hodges served as Fire Direction Officer from May to September before moving to Guns Platoon Commander.
 
From September 2020 to December 2021, First Lieutenant Hodges served as Guns Platoon Commander, Golf Battery. During this time the battery executed a work up and then deployed as part of BLT 3/5 on the 31st MEU from May to November 2021 which saw the battery execute operations in Australia and Fuji, Japan.
 
In January of 2022, First Lieutenant Hodges moved to Fire Support Battery and became the Company Fire Support Officer for Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines. First Lieutenant Hodges began the work up for the deployment in January and then attached to BLT 2/4 in April. From November 2022 to June 2023 BLT 2/4 was deployed in support of the 13th MEU which included training and exercises in Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Thailand, and Hawaii. During this deployment, First Lieutenant Hodges was also promoted to Captain.
 
After returning from the 13th MEU, Capt Hodges returned to 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines and was chosen to serve as Liaison Officer between the 1st Marine Division and the 1st Australian Division in support of Talisman Sabre 2023 in Townsville, Australia from July to August 2023.
 
In August 2023, Captain Hodges received orders to serve as Inspector-Instructor, Battery N, 5th Battalion, 14th Marines.
