Major Grant Broggi wis a native of Beaufort, Sotuh Carolina. He was commissioned in the Marine Corps on March 31st, 2012. After completing The Basic School in Quantico, VA, he reported to Artillery School at Ft. Sill, OK. In July 2013, he checked into 5th Battalion, 11th Marines on Camp Pendleton, CA and was assigned to Tango Battery, serving as a Fire Direction Officer.
In January of 2014, Major Broggi deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 14.1 serving as the Fire Direction Officer for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems platoon. Major Broggi was promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant on 1 April 2014.
Upon return from deployment in August of 2014, Major Broggi assumed the duties as the First Platoon Commander for Battery T. In February of 2015 Major Broggi was assigned as the Battery Executive Officer and remained in that billet until April of 2016.
On March 24th, 2016 Major Broggi was frocked to the rank of Captain. In April of 2016 Major Broggi received orders 5th Battalion, 14th Marines located at the Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, California and was assigned as the Inspector-Instructor for Battery N.
In August of 2017 he deployed 150 Marines to the Republic of Georgia for a Theatre Security Cooperation with various nations throughout Eastern Europe. He finished his duties as an active duty officer on 30 November 2019.
In December of 2019 Captain Broggi joined 3rd Anligco, FHG and served as a SALT leader until June of 2021. In July of 2022 Captain Broggi was married to his wife Diana Mendoza Broggi. Diana is a native of Southern California and a professional hairstylist. Grant and Diana meet when she begin cutting his hair after he was stationed at Seal Beach.
Major Broggi joined 14th Marine Regiment as the Fire Direction Officer in November of 2022. During his time at the Regiment visited numerous Batterys and Battalions throuhgout the Regiment to help improve Fire Direction Center operations.
In March of 2024 Major Broggi took over as the Commanding Officer for Battery G, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment.
His personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal with a gold star in lieu of second award and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Captain Broggi owns and operates an all American made barbell equipment and coaching company.
