Captain Christopher C. Swedzinski

Captain Christopher C. Swedzinski, a native of Princeton, Minnesota, graduated from North Dakota State University in 2020. He then attended Officer Candidate School at Quantico, VA, where he graduated on March 27, 2021. He was then assigned to Charlie Company at The Basic School at Quantico, VA, where he was assigned the Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) of Artillery Officer (0802).

On October 5, 2021, he reported to the Marine Artillery Basic Officers Course at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and graduated on March 16, 2022. Following Graduation, Second Lieutenant Swedzinski reported to Battery S, 5th Battalion, 11th Marines, Camp Pendleton, California, where he served as the Fire Direction Officer and platoon commander during the battery's deployment UDP 23.1 from November 2022 until July 2023.

Upon First Lieutenant Swedzinski's return from UDP 23.1, he BSO’d over to Tango Battery and served as the Platoon Commander from July 2023 to October 2023.

In October 2024, First Lieutenant Swedzinski BSO’d to Fire Support Battery 11th Marine Regiment and was aligned to support V25 as they prepared for their upcoming deployment to MRF-D. Where he served as the Battalion Fire Support Officer for 2nd Battalion 5th Marines from October 2023-November 2024, joining the Battalion on MRF-D rotation 24.3 during that time.

Following returning to Fire Support Battery 11th Marines in November 2025, he served as the platoon executive officer until May 2024. Assisting them in the standing up and establishment of the Fire Support Battalion in December of 2024 and following that the establishment of the supply account and Battalion TTPs/SOPs.

In May 2025, Captain Swedzinski reported to his current duty as Assistant Inspector-Instructor, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marines.

Captain Swedzinski's personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (with one gold star).
