Major Kenton M. Comstock
Commanding Officer
Anti-Tank Training Company

Major Comstock assumed the duties of Company Commander, Anti-Tank Training Company in May 2023. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Major Comstock was commissioned on 5 May 2012 following his graduation from Miami University. After completing The Basic School, he was assigned to 2d Tank Battalion, 2d Marine Division.

In 2013, Major Comstock was sent to the Armor Basic Officer Leader Course in Fort Benning, Georgia where he completed five months of training covering both armor and anti-armor/scouting operations. After graduation, Major Comstock was assigned as a Platoon Commander in Company B, 2d Tank Battalion. In September of 2014, he was assigned as the Tank Platoon Commander with the Ground Combat Element Integrated Task Force where he served for the duration of the unit’s training and evaluation. Subsequently, Major Comstock was assigned back to 2d Tank Battalion where he served as the Executive Officer for Company A beginning in June of 2015. In January of 2016, he took over command of Company A until his assignment to the Naval Postgraduate School in June of 2016.

Following completion of a master’s degree at the Naval Postgraduate School in October of 2018, Major Comstock reported to Headquarters Marine Corps, Programs and Resources where he served as an Information Technology Manager and Defense Systems Analyst within the Warfighting Branch of Program Analysis and Evaluation covering investment portfolios within the Marine Corps Warfighting Investment Program Evaluation Board. In May of 2023, Major Comstock assumed duties as Commanding Officer of Anti-Tank Training Company, 25th Marine Regiment.

Major Comstock has completed The Basic School, Armor Basic Officer Leader Course, Security Cooperation Planners Course, and Expeditionary Warfare School (Distance Education Program). Major Comstock’s awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and a Meritorious Unit Commendation.
