Lieutenant Colonel Dominic F. Fattore

Dominic Fattore completed Officer Candidate School in 2003, and attended the Basic School upon graduation from Carnegie Mellon University in 2004.  He completed the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course in Fort Sill, Oklahoma in May of 2005, and was assigned to Battery E, 2d Battalion, 11th Marines in Camp Pendleton, CA.  Lieutenant Fattore served as a Platoon Commander for the unit’s convoy security mission, and deployed in September 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 4-6. 

Upon return from deployment in April 2006 he was assigned as the Battery Fire Direction Officer and Headquarters Platoon Commander.  In January 2007 Lieutenant Fattore deployed with BLT 2/1 for attachment to the 31st MEU in Okinawa.  During this 12-month deployment, he served as Artillery Liaison Officer, Weapons Company Executive Officer, and Fires Platoon Commander.  After rejoining Battery E, Lieutenant Fattore served as Battery Executive Officer.

Captain Fattore was assigned to 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion in May 2008, serving as the Battalion Fire Support Coordinator and Information Operations officer.  He participated in the unit’s pre-deployment training, and deployed in support of OIF from September 2008 to April 2009. 

In July of 2009, Captain Fattore was assigned to 1st Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment, MCRD San Diego.  He served as a Series Commander, Regimental Special Projects Officer, Battalion Operations Officer, and Headquarters Company Commander.  Captain Fattore left active duty in October 2011.  He completed Expeditionary Warfare School through the distance education program in 2015.

Major Fattore joined 5th Battalion, 14th Marines in September 2015 as the Battalion Logistics Officer.  In September 2016 he took command of Headquarters Battery 5/14 until his assignment as Battalion Executive Officer in March 2017.  He joined the I MEF IMA Detachment in April 2019, serving as a Fires Officer, and was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in February 2021.  Prior to assuming command of 6th ANGLICO, he served as the Force Artillery Headquarters (FAHQ) Fire Support Coordinator for 14th Marine Regiment.

Lieutenant Colonel Fattore earned an MBA from UCLA in December 2014, and completed the Command and Staff College Weekend Seminar program in 2020.
