Lieutenant Colonel Zachary White received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of North Texas and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 2005. He completed The Basic School and Logistics Officer Course in 2006.
His command assignments include Landing Support Platoon Commander, Combat Logistics Battalion 1; Transportation Detachment Commander, Combat Logistics Battalion 15; Launcher Platoon Commander, Delta Battery, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment; and Commanding Officer, Marine Wing Support Squadron 473.
His staff assignments include Executive Officer, Transportation Support Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 1; S-4 Officer, Combat Logistics Battalion 5; Action Officer, Combat Logistics Regiment 1; Executive Officer, Delta Battery, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment; Aviation Ground Support Operations and Plans Officer, Marine Aircraft Group 41; G-4 Current Operation Officer, Marine Forces Europe and Africa; S-4 Officer Marine Aircraft Group 41; Executive Officer, Combat Logistics Battalion 25 and Future Operations Officer, 4th Marine Logistics Group.
He has deployed in support of named operations and exercises in Central Command, Indo-Pacific Command, European Command, Africa Command and Southern Command.
In June of 2025, Lieutenant Colonel White assumed duties as Executive Officer, Marine Aircraft Group 41.
As a civilian, Lieutenant Colonel White serves as a Commander for the Carrollton, TX Police Department. He holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Texas Christian University and a Doctorate in Law and Policy from Northeastern University.
His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with gold star in lieu of second award and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with gold star in lieu of second award.
