About

U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 234, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, and Marine Wing Support Squadron 473, 4th MAW, MARFORRES, did their part following the storm conducting refueling and resupply missions to Marathon, Florida, in wake of Hurricane Irma to aid and assist the affected areas of the Florida Keys, beginning on Sept. 10, 2017.

The Sounds of Music: City of Music hosts historic concert
New Orleans City Park, is transformed into a dancehall as the hundreds of once seated patrons dance and clap, on and off stage, during the Mamba finale of the “Swing in the Oaks,” Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and Marine Forces Reserve Band New Orleans performance, April 25. This concert was the first time these institutions had joined forces for a performance in either organization’s history.
