About

U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 234, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, and Marine Wing Support Squadron 473, 4th MAW, MARFORRES, did their part following the storm conducting refueling and resupply missions to Marathon, Florida, in wake of Hurricane Irma to aid and assist the affected areas of the Florida Keys, beginning on Sept. 10, 2017.

Master Chief of Religious Program Specialists visits Sailors for RP birthday celebration
Master Chief Petty Officer Dino Medler, the 13th senior enlisted leader for the religious program specialist rating, addresses Sailors and Navy recruits Jan. 14, 2014 at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans Military Entrance Processing Center. Medler visited with Sailors at Marine Forces Reserve and NAS JRB New Orleans to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the creation of the religious program specialist rating, which was created Jan. 15, 1979. The religious program specialists at Marine Forces Reserve provide support to Navy chaplains in developing programs to meet the needs of Sailors and Marines throughout the Reserve Force.
