U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 234, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, and Marine Wing Support Squadron 473, 4th MAW, MARFORRES, did their part following the storm conducting refueling and resupply missions to Marathon, Florida, in wake of Hurricane Irma to aid and assist the affected areas of the Florida Keys, beginning on Sept. 10, 2017.

MARFORRES Religious program specialists trek through Louisiana forest to give back to community

Teddy Eddinger, Marine Forces Reserve deputy Force chaplain, clears brush from a forest path at the Barataria Preserve, part of Jean Lafitte Historical Park and Preserve in Marrero, La., Jan. 16, 2016. Eddinger, along with a group of volunteers from Marine Forces Reserve’s Force Chaplain’s Office, completed volunteer work at the nature preserve, which involved cleaning signs and clearing paths through the hardwood forest areas of the preserve. MARFORRES religious program specialists routinely complete community enrichment projects to give back to the local community.
