About

U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 234, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, and Marine Wing Support Squadron 473, 4th MAW, MARFORRES, did their part following the storm conducting refueling and resupply missions to Marathon, Florida, in wake of Hurricane Irma to aid and assist the affected areas of the Florida Keys, beginning on Sept. 10, 2017.

Senior Leaders Leave Their Ranks at the Door
Senior leaders from across Marine Forces Reserve use teamwork to work on untangling themselves from a human knot while participating in an exercise during the Senior Leadership Workshop at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, Jan. 23-26, 2017. The Marines and Sailors participated in multiple exercises and discussions that address differences in leadership styles, perspectives, experiences, backgrounds and more. The workshop aims to emphasize the importance of open communication and equal opportunity, and to demonstrate their effects on unit cohesion, mission accomplishment and mission readiness.
