About

U.S. Marines with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 234, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, and Marine Wing Support Squadron 473, 4th MAW, MARFORRES, did their part following the storm conducting refueling and resupply missions to Marathon, Florida, in wake of Hurricane Irma to aid and assist the affected areas of the Florida Keys, beginning on Sept. 10, 2017.

Marines From the Marine Innovation Unit Participate in Cyber Yankee 2022
Staff Sgt. Sean Sarich an innovation laboratory specialist at Marine Innovation Unit works on his network hacking plans during Cyber Yankee 22 on Camp Nett, Connecticut, June 13, 2022. During Cyber Yankee service members are divided up into red teams and blue teams. All participating Marines are part of the red team. The red team acts as an attacking force while the blue team tries to defend their network. The Reserve Marines from MIU also played an important role in Cyber Yankee 2022 and plans to continue to support exercises like this to bring in extra talent and subject matter expertise from the cyber and developmental support. MIU leverages existing Marine talent to address advanced technology challenges in order to accelerate the development of new capabilities. MIU houses coders who have the potential to bring a new skill set to the exercise.
