About

Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in exercise Riley Xanten II, in Burwash, Ontario, Feb. 3-5, 2017. During the exercise, the Marines joined soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces to exchange knowledge and increase proficiency in cold weather tactics, survival skills, shelter building, ice fishing, and more.

A Marine from 1st Battalion, 23rd Marines attempts to control a crowd of unruly citizen role players during a training scenario designed to simulate a major natural disaster in Pichidangui, Chile August 18, 2014, as part of Partnership of the Americas 2014. Representatives from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, and the United States are participating in POA 2014 from August 11-22, 2014. This exercise is designed to enhance joint and combined interoperability, increase the combined capability to execute Amphibious Operations, Peace Support Operations, and Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief missions, and further develop strong and lasting relationships the U.S. Marine Corps has established with partner nation’s naval infantries/marine corps.
