About

Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in exercise Riley Xanten II, in Burwash, Ontario, Feb. 3-5, 2017. During the exercise, the Marines joined soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces to exchange knowledge and increase proficiency in cold weather tactics, survival skills, shelter building, ice fishing, and more.

World War II Veteran visits 4th Force Recon Marines

Marine Veteran, Bill Darling pins Lance Cpl. Shane Johnson during a promotion ceremony. During his visit, Darling not only saw the planning, training and execution of the units’ exercise, but he also talked to the Marines, shared stories about his period of service and compared experiences between his time and what the Marines go through today.
