Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in exercise Riley Xanten II, in Burwash, Ontario, Feb. 3-5, 2017. During the exercise, the Marines joined soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces to exchange knowledge and increase proficiency in cold weather tactics, survival skills, shelter building, ice fishing, and more.

Marine Forces Reserve celebrates Marine Corps Birthday with motivational run

Cpl. The Marines completed a 3-mile formation run through the neighborhood, after the traditional cake-cutting ceremony in honor of the Marine Corps’ 240th birthday. Since Nov. 10, 1775, the United States Marine Corps has garnered the reputation as the world’s most efficient amphibious fighting force, engaging in combat on battlefronts across the globe since its inception.
