RILEY XANTEN II

About

Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in exercise Riley Xanten II, in Burwash, Ontario, Feb. 3-5, 2017. During the exercise, the Marines joined soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces to exchange knowledge and increase proficiency in cold weather tactics, survival skills, shelter building, ice fishing, and more.

2/24 Brings Steel Rain

Eric Dragon (left), scout snipers with 2/24 Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, finish their qualifications on the range during a fire support coordination exercise in Camp Atterbury, Ind., April 14, 2016. Along with completing their qualifications the Marines worked with Company B, 8th Battalion, 229th Aviation Regiment (8-229 AV), 11th Aviation Command (Theater), a U.S. Army Blackhawk crew, to hone their skills in casualty evacuations and insertion exercises into enemy lines.
