About

Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in exercise Riley Xanten II, in Burwash, Ontario, Feb. 3-5, 2017. During the exercise, the Marines joined soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces to exchange knowledge and increase proficiency in cold weather tactics, survival skills, shelter building, ice fishing, and more.

Marines Compete in Series of Combat Sports

NEW ORLEANS – Cpl. Christian Plant (left), a fiscal clerk with Headquarters Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve, watches and scores Marines competing during the MARFORRES King of the Ring Competition at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, March 22, 2017. The competition featured three separate events to include grappling, knife fighting, and combative baton, all hosted by the MARFORRES Martial Arts Team.
