About

Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in exercise Riley Xanten II, in Burwash, Ontario, Feb. 3-5, 2017. During the exercise, the Marines joined soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces to exchange knowledge and increase proficiency in cold weather tactics, survival skills, shelter building, ice fishing, and more.

Hope Sayre, an administrative clerk with Headquarters Battalion, strikes a training pad during the Security Augmentation Force course at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, Sept. 13, 2019. SAF training is designed to provide the facility with qualified and properly trained personnel ready to support the military provost marshal’s office. SAF Marines are required to participate in defensive tactics training, a gate procedures class, vehicle search training and qualify for level one contamination with oleoresin capsicum spray.
