About

Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in exercise Riley Xanten II, in Burwash, Ontario, Feb. 3-5, 2017. During the exercise, the Marines joined soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces to exchange knowledge and increase proficiency in cold weather tactics, survival skills, shelter building, ice fishing, and more.

Task force Marines increase unit readiness through land navigation training at Camp Lejeune

Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command conduct a final check of their plot points on a map before stepping off for land navigation training at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, May 4, 2020. Land navigation consists of being able to use skills that can help one traverse through unfamiliar terrain by foot or in a vehicle. Marines and Sailors with SPMAGTF-SC are conducting a variety of pre-deployment training events and qualifications to enhance crisis response readiness. These events assist the Marines and Sailors with providing humanitarian aid assistance and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Latin America and the Caribbean.
