About

Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in exercise Riley Xanten II, in Burwash, Ontario, Feb. 3-5, 2017. During the exercise, the Marines joined soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces to exchange knowledge and increase proficiency in cold weather tactics, survival skills, shelter building, ice fishing, and more.

Michael Ward, son of WWII veteran of Pearl Harbor and Guadalcanal, retired Petty Officer 1st Class Harold Ward, speaks during a commemorative ceremony of the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans Dec. 7, 2021. Civilians, veterans and service members came together to honor those who perished during the attack on Dec. 7, 1941 and to thank the service members who would subsequently fight during WWII.
