Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, participate in exercise Riley Xanten II, in Burwash, Ontario, Feb. 3-5, 2017. During the exercise, the Marines joined soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces to exchange knowledge and increase proficiency in cold weather tactics, survival skills, shelter building, ice fishing, and more.

U.S. Marine Corps Major Shannon Potts, A Manpower Officer assigned to Headquarters Company, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division hugs retired U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Lou 'Mama Lou' Keller at her 99th Birthday celebration, March 30, 2024, in San Jose, California. Mama Lou served two years in the Marine Corps during WWII processing Purple Hearts for Marines injured during the war.
