Marines of Marine Forces Reserve are participating in WTI 1-18 during their annual training to increase their proficiency with the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System and to build experience using HIMARS to fire Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System rockets, advancing their combat effectiveness and readiness for future exercises and deployments.

Navy League Recognizes Sailor, Marine and Coast Guardsman of the Year

Service members from units in the New Orleans area are recognized as the Sailor, Marine and Coast Guardsman of the Year for their respective units by the Navy League of the United States Greater New Orleans Council at “A Taste’n Toast to Our Armed Services” event at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel, New Orleans, July 30, 2016.
