Marines of Marine Forces Reserve are participating in WTI 1-18 during their annual training to increase their proficiency with the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System and to build experience using HIMARS to fire Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System rockets, advancing their combat effectiveness and readiness for future exercises and deployments.

"Santa Meets Sousa" holiday concert

Gunnery Sgt. Justin A. Hauser, enlisted conductor of Marine Corps Band New Orleans, conducts the band as the Ghost of Christmas Past during the “Santa Meets Sousa” holiday concert at Saenger Theatre, Dec. 10, 2016. The performance was the third in the regional concert series that served to benefit the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Toys for Tots is a nationwide program that collects new, unwrapped toys for less-fortunate children in the community. Since its inception in 1947, Toys for Tots has distributed 512 million toys to 237 million children.
