About

Marines of Marine Forces Reserve are participating in WTI 1-18 during their annual training to increase their proficiency with the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System and to build experience using HIMARS to fire Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System rockets, advancing their combat effectiveness and readiness for future exercises and deployments.

JB MDL- HMLA 773 (-) Aerial Gunnery, 22 February 2025
The Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773 (HMLA 773) ordinance team, uploads and arms a Cobra AHT-1Z and in preparation for day/night aerial gunnery missions with a full contingent of 40 mm rockets and 20mm gatling gun rounds at JB MDL. The squadron is based at Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst, NJ and falls under the command of Marine Aircraft Group 49 (MAG-49).
