Marines of Marine Forces Reserve are participating in WTI 1-18 during their annual training to increase their proficiency with the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System and to build experience using HIMARS to fire Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System rockets, advancing their combat effectiveness and readiness for future exercises and deployments.

Funeral Service for Lt.Gen. John H. Miller

Marine Corps Lt. Gen. John H. Miller is laid to rest at Aggie Field of Honor & Memorial Cemetery, College Station, Texas, Dec. 5, 2025. Lt. Gen. Miller (ret.), highly decorated Marine, served loyally for nearly four decades in the United States Marine Corps. He began his career in 1943, enlisting in the Marine Corps Reserve, attended and commissioned as a Marine Corps officer out of Texas A&M and retired as a Lt. Gen., serving in three different wars. He served valiantly earning a Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart Medal among other military awards. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by LCpl. Donnell Brown)
