Air traffic control Marine reflects on his service during support to ITX
U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jon Weaver, an air traffic controller assigned to Detachment A, Marine Air Control Squadron 24, Marine Air Control Group 48, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, from Longview, Texas, poses for a portrait during Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 4-22, at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif., July 20, 2022. "I've gotten a lot more opportunities after I came here than I did on the active side. I was never able to go to training exercises like ITX; they're sending me to WTI, talking about putting me on a MEU, so that's probably the best part about being a reservist."
