Red Dagger is a bilateral training exercise between 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group and 131 Commando Squadron Royal Engineers, a British Army Reserve unit, and part of 24 Commando Royal Engineers. The Marines will conduct a series of ranges, demolition training, and engineer projects to meet critical ESB mission essential tasks while partnered with Coalition Forces.

Craig Abele (right), served with Murphy as the battalion's operations officer. Abele, who has spent the past seven of his 16 years in the Corps as a reservist, is currently attending Marine Corps Command and Staff College and is scheduled to graduate in June with a master's degree in military science.
