Red Dagger is a bilateral training exercise between 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group and 131 Commando Squadron Royal Engineers, a British Army Reserve unit, and part of 24 Commando Royal Engineers. The Marines will conduct a series of ranges, demolition training, and engineer projects to meet critical ESB mission essential tasks while partnered with Coalition Forces.

Members of the local Molly Marine chapter of the Women Marines Association gather around the Molly Marine statue they restore every year. This original Molly Marine statue was sculpted in New Orleans in 1943 in order to assist in recruiting women during World War II.
