Marines with Company C., 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, drive an amphibious assault vehicle from land into the water during a basic operations exercise at the Galveston Marine Corps Reserve Home Training Center, Aug. 8, 2015. The Marines attended the funeral of their fallen brother, Staff Sgt. David A. Wyatt, one of five service members killed by a gunman at the Naval Operational Support Center and Marine Corps Reserve Center on July 16, 2015. Marines, family, friends and community members all gathered together to sing “God Bless America” at Lance Cpl. Squire Wells memorial at Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Georgia, July 21, 2015. Wells was one of the five military members killed by a gunman at the Naval Operational Support Center and Marine Corps Reserve Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Min Wook Yoo, an infantryman with 5th Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Regiment, 1st Marine Division, at warrior day during Peninsula Express 15 in Pohang, Republic of Korea, July 8, 2015. Peninsula Express is this year’s eighth iteration of the Korean-Marine Exchange Program, a series of exercises between the U.S. and Republic of Korea Marine Corps designed to build interoperability and tactical familiarity between the partner nations.
