To the Marines of 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Gunnery Sgt. Barry A. Worster, the battalion's motor transport maintenance chief, serves as inspiration and a Marine to emulate. Worster recently led a team of Marines from his unit to aid in the relief efforts on Staten Island, N.Y., following the devastation left by Hurricane Sandy. - To the Marines of 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Gunnery Sgt. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines, 4th Marine Division, fold the flag during the funeral for a Marine veteran. The battalion has been averaging 350 funerals per year. So far this year, the battalion has covered 254 funerals. Reserve Marines from Company F, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment conduct census operations at a Bedouin camp in the Al Anbar desert near Al Asad Air Base, Iraq on Dec. 11, 2008. The Marines, using rudimentary Arabic acquired from DVD tutorial programs, were able to gain critical information on the itinerant residents who travel throughout the Coalition’s area of operations. The Marines completed their 7-month tour in Iraq in April 2009.
