New requirements for implementation of Marine Online family readiness module

17 Feb 2017 | Cpl. Melissa Martens U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve

The Unit, Personal and Family Readiness Program trains Marines and their families to prepare for life cycle events. By providing resources and support services, the program aims to enhance a Marine's personal and family readiness, which results in overall unit readiness.

Formally available on eMarine.org, the program has transitioned to Marine Online as the family readiness module. Commanding officers and family readiness officers are encouraged to utilize the module to communicate any official family readiness information with Marines and their families.

In order to assure maximum participation, Marines are required to verify the information on the MOL personal information tab upon checking in to a new unit. Marines will then be directed to the family readiness module to enter and update family readiness contacts.
