NEW ORLEANS -- Marine administrative message 085/17 announces training and resources for the Blended Retirement System.
Training is mandatory and will be implemented in three phases: notification, training and election.
Starting March 1, 2017 the training phase will be implemented through Marine Net course BRSOPTIN01, or in a class taught by a certified financial instructor. Fifty percent of the training must be completed by July 1, 2017, 75 percent by Oct. 1 and 100 percent by Dec. 1.
