Maradmin 626/14 announces Military Saves Week held Feb. 23-28, 2015. The week will kick off the 2015 Military Save Campaign, which provides opportunities for all personnel to focus on the importance of saving, a component critical to financial readiness.

To help Marines and personnel to maintain their financial readiness, Installation Personal Financial Management Programs (PFMP) will be used as financial education resources.

Installation PFMP staff will assist commanders and Marines by providing available financial education opportunities. Events available may include financial fairs, command briefs, special workshops and financial classes. Commanders are also encouraged to show support for financial readiness by signing a command proclamation in support of Military Saves Week and supporting military saves events.

Spouses and family members of the Marines are encouraged to participate in the upcoming events. Individual Marines are also encouraged to participate and pledge to save at militarysaves.org or at an installation-sponsored Military Saves Week event.
