New active duty opportunities for officers in the reserve

MARADMIN 685/14 announces the fiscal year 2015 officer retention board.

            The return to the active duty sub-board provides the opportunity for the transfer of lieutenants, captains and majors to the active component from the Selected Marine Corps Reserve, Individual Mobilization Augmentee and Individual Ready Reserve.

            The fiscal year 2015 officer retention board will convene on or about Feb. 24, 2015, and will consist of four sub-boards; career designation, inter-service transfer, return to active duty, and re-designation.

            The career designation sub-board considers officers for five categories in military occupational specialties such as combat arms, combat service support, aviation ground, aviation and law.

            Manpower management officer assignments should receive all submissions no later than Feb. 14, 2015.
