The Marine Corps is continuously making information technology investments in order to ensure mission systems are ready to support warfighting needs. In support of these investments, the Marine Corps will host its first annual mobile application challenge.

The purpose of the challenge is to accept creative and innovative applications capable of running on either an Android or Apple device. The application categories include quality of life, physical fitness and warfighting.

Marines interested must submit applications by Nov. 5, 2016. Commanders are encouraged to support the participation of all Marines that desire to take part in this event.

The applications will be evaluated by a Marine Corps team and three selected winners will be announced no later than Nov. 21, 2016.
