FHG commanding general gets promoted

Brig. Gen. Helen G. Pratt (left), commanding general of Force Headquarters Group, repeats the oath of office to Lt. Gen. Richard Mills, commander of Marine Forces Reserve, during her promotion ceremony at Glenridge Middle School Sept. 5, 2014. Assisting Mills is Sgt. Maj. Michael E. Sprague, sergeant major of FHG. Pratt was promoted in front of the students, teachers and fellow staff members of the school, where she was a guidance counselor prior to taking command.
