Marine Corps Band New Orleans Performs with Students from the Convservatorio de Musica Puerto Rico

Isaias Sanchez Ortiz, a student from the Conservatorio de Musica de Puerto Rico in San Juan, plays the trombone during a Master class given by members of the Marine Corps Band New Orleans, Oct. 18, 2016. The Marines visited the conservatory to not only help teach and pass on knowledge to the students, but also to perform a concert commemorating Marine Forces Reserve Centennial. The commemoration celebrates the heritage, espirit-de-corps, and a bond with Puerto Rico and communities across the U.S. It recognizes the Reserve's essential role as a crisis response force and expeditionary force in readiness, constantly preparing to augment the active component.
