Lt. Col. Alexis Santiago relinquished command of 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion (AAV) in a change of command ceremony on Dec. 4, 2021 in Tampa, Florida. Santiago was assigned to Headquarters and Support Company, 4th Amphibious Assault Battalion in 1994 and served the majority of his 29 year career in Tampa, Florida.
