Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

Marine takes charge, earns Silver Star
MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT, SAN DIEGO -- Sgt. Miguelange G. Madrigal, a radio chief with Supporting Arms Liaison Team G, 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, is pinned on the rank of sergeant by his brother, Oscar Madrigal, and his prior team chief, former Sgt. Michael Dickinson, before being awarded the Silver Star Medal aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Jan. 31, 2013. Madrigal is out of the Marine Corps now but he never pinned on sergeant before the end of his service. Dickinson was part of the five-man team when Madrigal demonstrated the extraordinary valor that earned him the Silver Star Medal. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Marcin Platek/Released)
