Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

World War II veteran, Amelie Prados Cressend is moved to tears as Marine Corps Band New Orleans performs the rearranged, updated and expanded arrangement of her original song, “Keep America Free,” at Marine Corps Support Facility band hall, May 6. Retired Marine Corps musician, former Staff Sgt. Jake Johnson, and Marine Corps Band New Orleans worked together to bring Cressend’s dream and musical vision to life by harmonizing and rearranging her original score, and adapting the song into their official repertoire.
