Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

Early retirement benefits offered to Active-Reserve staff sergeants during FY-15
Marine administrative message 138/14 announced that within fiscal year 2015, the Marine Corps is authorized to offer voluntary retirement at a reduced monthly retainer-pay rate to reserve-component staff sergeants. The Marine Corps Active Reserve Enlisted Temporary Early Retirement Authority Program gives early retirement benefits that active-duty Marines received, in fiscal year 2012, to Active-Reserve Marines who have more than 15 years and less than 20 years of active-duty.
